Gary

Gary Latham, Vocals

Gary first started singing Solos as a choirboy at school - looks angelic don't you think!?

In his youth Gary would often tour the great Working mens Clubs of the North of England with his Father and his vocalist sister Sandra Christy, purely in a watching and listening capacity. During this time he experienced a dual musical upbringing -
Santana and Sinatra, ELO and Ella, Led Zep and Louis ...
(and strangely could sometimes be heard humming Mack the Knife on the school playground...)

After a varied career in Electronics, Sales, IT, Web design, and even Antiques and Collectibles (!) Gary finally started singing again in 1995. This was mainly on the club circuit with a varied repotoire of Pop, Soul and Rock and Roll. In 2002 he saw the light and started concentrating on the Jazz and Swing Standards with Pete Cotterill, (Rest in peace) Tom Kincaid, Richard Vernon and Roger Keys.

Gary is also privileged to have sang with many other superb musicians, including Pete 'Pedro' Robinson, James Evans, Adrian Cox, Steve Moore, Johnny Abbott, John Milner and Dave McGarry, to name but a few.

Songlist:

A Foggy Day
Almost like being in Love

All My Tommorows
Around the World
As Time Goes By
Beyond The Sea
But Not For Me
Copacabana
Cheek to Cheek

Dancing in the dark
Days of Wine and Roses
Dock of the bay
Don't get around much anymore
Fly Me to The Moon
Girl from Ipenema
Have I told you lately that I love you
How High the Moon
I Get a Kick Out of You
I'm beginning to see the light
I'm Gonna sit right down and write myself a letter
I've Got You Under My Skin
It Had to be you
It was just one of those things
King of the Road
Lady is a Tramp
Let there be Love
Lets face the Music and Dance
Mack the Knife
Moon Dance
Moonlight in Vermont
Nature Boy
New York, New York
Nice and Easy
Nice work if you can get it
Night and Day
Nowhere with love (by H Connick jnr)
On a Clear day
On the Street where you Live
One For my Baby, and one more for the road
One Note Samba
Our Love is here to stay
Portait of my Love
Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars
S' Wonderful
Secret Love
Skylark
Someone to Watch Over Me
Somethings Gotta give
Stepping out with my baby
Straighten up and fly right
Summer wind
Teach me tonight
Tender Trap
That's All
That's Life
The Days of Wine and Roses
The Nearness of you
The Way You Look Tonight
They all Laughed
They Can't Take That Away From Me
They say it's wonderfull
Witchcraft
You are the Sunshine of my life
You Make me Feel so Young
Young at Heart
